On 14 September 2025, Hyderabad faced extremely heavy rainfall, resulting in significant flooding in various low-lying areas, including Musheerabad. J. Dinesh Kumar, who was 32 years old, was carried away by floodwaters near a stormwater drain in Musheerabad.
