Donors please Note:

​

1. TAX EXEMPTION UNDER 80G:

All TU Donations are eligible for deduction U/s 80G(5)(i) of Income tax Act from Accounting Year 2022-23 to 2026-27 vide IT order dt. 05-04-2022.

2. WE CANNOT RECEIVE FOREIGN DONATIONS

We are unable to directly receive any funds from abroad as we are yet to obtain our FCRA license, which is only given after 3 years of activity

3. INDIANS LIVING ABROAD CAN DONATE

If  you are an Indian Passport holder and/or have an NRO or NRE Bank Account here in India, you can donate from that.

Your Donation can be towards our Charitable Causes or our Administrative Expenses (keeping in mind our desire not to take a single paisa towards our Administrative expenses from Donations specifically towards Charity)

1. Donation Towards Charitable Causes

You can either make a General Charity Donation or donate towards a specific cause.

​

  • General Charity Donation - where you support our work by donating without specifying any particular charity. We inform you within a specific time frame – usually 2 weeks - exactly where and how we used your money.
     

  • Specific Cause Donation - where you specify the cause towards which you want the donation to be utilized. You can view the list of charitable causes by clicking here.

2. Donation Towards Administrative Expenses

Donations towards Administrative Expenses will allow The Untouchables to achieve our aim – i.e. ensuring that the full amount of donated money will reach its destination, without any portion or percentage being cut as “Administrative Expenses”. You can donate towards a monthly recurring need or an immediate need or you can make a general donation towards Administrative expenses.

  • Monthly Administrative Needs - where you contribute towards our monthly recurring administrative expenses. You can specify which expense you want to contribute towards. Click here to view list of such needs.
     

  • General Donation - where you choose to donate to our  Administrative Needs in General, and allow us to decide where it is most useful. We inform you within a specific time frame – usually 2 months - exactly where and how we used your money
