Support a Brave Woman Fighting for Her Child

Mrs. Rajyalakshmi, a 21-year-old young mother of an infant, Venkat Cherithan, has been facing severe domestic violence and emotional trauma since the early days of her marriage. 

According to her testimony, just a few days after marriage, her husband began harassing and abusing her physically and emotionally. Even when she was pregnant, her health and the safety of the unborn child were endangered due to several incidents of violence from her spouse. He also refused to work and remained unemployed, leaving the family without proper food or necessities.

After the birth of her son through a surgical delivery, Rajyalakshmi was forced to perform heavy household work despite her fragile health condition. Her husband frequently consumes alcohol and becomes more aggressive while intoxicated, which has, on several occasions, caused immense fear for the safety of both mother and child.

Due to continuous violence, emotional distress, and lack of financial support, Rajyalakshmi and her child are now in a highly vulnerable situation. As a young mother without independent financial stability, she is struggling to ensure safety, basic livelihood, and a secure future for her child.

Rajyalakshmi intends to work and support her child. However, she needs immediate support that will help her secure basic needs, legal protection, medical care, and a safer environment for her child.
