Through the NGO ‘Northeast Solidarity’ we were able to give dry rations to 17 families belonging to two tribal groups: The Rongmeis and the Kuki Students Organisation.These were families that chose to stay behind in Bengaluru and were finding it difficult to make ends meet. This was urgently delivered because the very next day Bengaluru had ordered an 8 day lockdown.
This particular project is over. Amount of dry rations distributed: Rs 14,165/-
