On discussion with Ms Shobha George, Mr. Kurian Mathew, and other volunteers for CARE PLUS, we came to understand that every person under this CARE PLUS scheme has already received sponsorship and hence they did not need help from THE UNTOUCHABLES. This particular project is concluded : Funding not required for the present.

Need: Rs. 1,000/- per month per child of cancer victim
Scout Mohan [Kurian Abraham] has informed us that Care Plus is a registered NGO working with the Pain & Palliative care division of the Regional Cancer Center, Trivandrum. We have investigated into their work and seen that they are doing good social work in this field. While the Palliative care division is fairly well funded by donors, it is not the same for families whose bread winner is either a cancer patient, or is no more. Care Plus tries to help their families who are left behind, and they require considerable help, especially for their children’s education. At the moment there are about 60 beneficiaries, all male. Monthly Donations expected: Rs 1000/- per month
