[Habib’s Story is brought to us by Johan Thomas from St Stephen’s Orthodox Church, Thane, as part of COLT’S COVID CHALLENGE in the Diocese of Mumbai]

  • Name of the individual- Habib Dalal

  • Family members - 5

  • Source of income - max 50/- to 70/- per day

This person is partially handicapped as he is disabled from his left leg. He used to sell tea in the shop next to his home but due to lockdown the rent of the shop became impossible for him. He refused to give up. Hence, after the lockdown, he has just re-opened, but this time he started to put a table outside of his home and now sells tea to the public from there. But can hardly get a profit of Rs 50 to 70 max., and this is not enough to keep his family going.

DONATION REQUIRED: Rs 5000/- would help him to keep his trade and family going.
